Persistence Pays Off

/ 1 min read

My dear sons,

Successful people are like persistent weeds in a garden of doubt. They don’t give up easily.

New ideas often resemble badly assembled IKEA furniture—frustrating and seemingly impossible. But the persistent ones keep tinkering, adjusting, and trying different angles until everything fits.

Remember, the first attempt might feel like a botched magic trick. Don’t let it deter you. Keep at it. Each failure is just another step closer to a breakthrough.

Thomas Edison didn’t invent the light bulb overnight. He had a thousand ways that didn’t work before finding the one that did. Imagine if he had given up after number 999.

So, don’t be discouraged by initial setbacks. Embrace them as part of the process. Keep pushing, keep experimenting, and keep believing.

Eventually, you’ll find the right combination, and your persistence will pay off.

Stay relentless and creative, Dad
